Ponte Family Estate is a Southern California based winery and hospitality operation. We are located in the heart of the Temecula Wine Country. Just a short drive from most of Southern California, we host visitors who want a break from city life.


Ponte Family Estate Winery currently seeks a Busser to join our restaurant team at The Restaurant at Ponte. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Busser (100%)

  • To ensure guest satisfaction and profitability is maximized at every opportunity.
  • To uphold professional standards of excellence and set an example to all other associates at all times.
  • To assist servers in the service of Food and Beverage in our dining establishment, The Restaurant at Ponte.
  • Clearing and re-setting of tables.
  • Provide water service for all tables.
  • Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize dish area, and polish glassware and other duties assigned by management.
  • To be able to work well under pressure and to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To aid the Servers and Restaurant Managers during service times.
  • 100% menu knowledge.
  • Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery.
  • To be able to work well under pressure and to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To maintain a clean work environment and uphold all Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Always have higher expectations for service levels.
  • Be confident in taking the lead in any guest issues that may arise during your shift and communicate these to your Manager immediately.
  • Set the example of excellence in standards to other Associates at all times.
  • Ensure that all duties are carried out before the end of shift.
  • Assist fellow Associates with additional job duties as business dictates and is required.
  • Understands and adheres to the Ponte values and service standards.

Experience and Skills:

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • One year of experience bussing in a fine dining restaurant environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to engage the guests in a clear and professional manner.
  • Must be willing and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work in high paced work environment.
  • Ability to Multi Task.


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Has attention to detail and the ability to follow direction and abide by standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to focus for an entire shift, trouble shooting and prioritizing skills.


  • Hospitality/Food and Beverage industry background and experience.
